Welcome to E-Mail-A-Friend (EMAF)!
This is a free service provided to adolescents and young adults by the Foundation for Adolescent Development.

If you're angry, confused or have a problem, that's what we're here for. Send us an e-mail about what's bugging you and we will see that it gets to a counselor. We don't give advice or tell you what to do, but we can help you work through it.

You can write to us about anything.
Maybe you have problems with a boyfriend or girlfriend, family, school, your friends, or whatever. Sometimes you don't like yourseld or feel awkward or different, and its ok to write to us about that too.
Hey, you can even write to us about sex!

Our E-Mail-A-Friend Coordinator will check the mail and forward your message to one of our qualified volunteer counselors.
The counselor will try to respond as quickly as possible.

Here are two tips to make sure you get a quick response:

- Try to describe your problem as throughly as you can
- Make sure you type youe e-mail address so the counselor can reply to you.

Don't worry, The Foundation for Adolescent Development, Inc. (FAD) will keep your messages confidential and guarantees your anonymity. If we feel that your message is inspiring to your fellow youth, we'll ask your permission to publish it on this website.
